Congratulations to the Parkrose High School choir members selected to perform with the Oregon Music Educators All State Honor Choir, February 14 - 17, 2013. The students chosen for the honor choir were altos - Adna Hergic and Audrey Deiss, tenors - John Bown and Kevin Mercier, baritone - Brian Thow and basses - Joe Vongsay and Mario Zivanovich.

Congratulations are also extended to Jessica MacBrough (alto) and Jacob Sheeran (tenor) selected to perform in the NAfME (National Association for Music Education) All-NW Mixed Choir. Debra Loh (bassoon), will represent Parkrose HS in the NAfME honor orchestra. Student representatives chosen from over 5200 applicants representing six northwest states will comprise the choirs, wind symphony, band and orchestra at the NAFMW All-NW Convention held consecutively this year with the Oregon All-State groups in Portland, Oregon.

(Russell students include Debra, Adna and Jacob. Mario and Joe attended Sacramento and Brian attended Shaver.)
