Alesia J. Reese currently serves on the Parkrose Board of Education along with Finance and Wellness Subcommittees. Ms. Reese chairs the Woodland Park Neighborhood Association and East Portland Parks Coalition. As a district volunteer she directed the Parkrose Community Fair for 3 years. Serving as a member of the Gateway Urban Renewal Committee and Airport Futures Group Ms. Reese supports the efforts of Parkrose in the city and region.

Receiving a Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University in both History and Political Science, Ms. Reese's background encourages career opportunities for Parkrose students, including career development and college opportunities.

David Horton is currently employed as a Mechanical Design Engineer and has been working as a Mechanical Engineer for eight years. He has Bachelors Degrees from Willamette University and Oregon State University and a Masters degree from Portland State University. He has served on the Russell Academy Site Council and coached both Parkrose Tee ball and Soccer. In addition to his community activities, David enjoys spending time with his family and surfing.

Dr. Thuy Tran is an Optometric Physician and business owner of Rose City Vision Care. She proudly serves as a Major and Chief of Optometry for the Portland Air National Guard 142nd Medical Group. She is very active in the community as a Lions Club Member, Girl Scout Troop Co-Leader, and as Vice President for the non-profit: Vietnamese Community of Oregon. She is also a proud mother of three beautiful children who will attend Russell Academy and Parkrose Middle School.

Ed Grassel is a husband, father and a software engineer. As an owner of Aslan Software he develops business management software. He has served as a member on both the Sacramento Elementary and Middle School site councils. He has a passion for math and science both in his life and in education.

Dr. James Woods is an assistant professor of economics at Portland State University, and operates a small consultancy specializing in program evaluation and social surveys. He has served on several advisory councils in a professional capacity, the Parkrose Middle School Site Council and the Parkrose Educational Foundation.
